I'm A Witch

One of the first things we do in our Intro classes is ... introduce ourselves!

YOU FIRST!

One by one our potential students stand up, state their names and why they're here.

Many say they're looking for the 'right way' to learn Wicca.

Well... our way may not be right for you. In fact, it's probably too hard. We're very demanding, very exacting, and our disciplines, while we love them, are sometimes too much for the more 'whatever feels right' type of pagan.

Besides, there is no 'right' way. We like our way best, to be sure, but all pagan groups have the right to practice how they wish. In fact, there more groups there are to fill different people's needs, the better.

Some people come to us after 'conjuring' something into their life, house, etc., that they want to get rid of. We give directions on psychic housecleaning, reversing, protection, and when they see results, they come back to us.

Notice I didn't say we cleaned their house, banished the spirit, etc. - we are not exorcists, that is for the priest in the church down the road!

We deal with nature deities, not malevolent spirits! When you say you're possessed, we run the other way!

But for all the reasons people come to us (some clever, some cute), most are just bullshit.

The truth is, we all want power. Power to change our lives, help our situation. Power our non-magical (cowan) friends don't have.

Knowledge is power and we want to turn out the most knowledgeable witches in the world. And we will make you stick around, take your time, go through your paces, test you in many ways because power shared is power lost.
