When new classes start, the Temple gets excited. Students from other classes come to help, but mostly to see the new students. The Temple is set up with more cushions than usual, and a table is set up to hold all those things the students will need to start class.

The first two classes are generally started a little late, to accommodate the people who live on commercial time...which is 15 minutes after the show starts.

Lady Morgana, our High Priestess, generally speaks first. She had done these introduction classes so many times she could do them from the Astral!

She explains the Temple - what it is, how old, etc. She talks on the Craft - how we practice it. And she makes it perfectly clear - this is her Temple to run, and if you don't like our methods, our teachings, or laws, "Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out!"

These first two classes are meant to "shake the tree" - to see if you fall out! We say things as clearly and bluntly as possible, to help you make your decision on whether to stay or not. Most do not!

We are fairly informal at first, tolerating questions out of turn or off topic, tardiness, not contributing to discussions, etc....but not for long.

You see, the first year and a day of study at the Temple is long for everyone. Teachers and students put in many hours and expend much energy to reach initiation. If you are wishy-washy or undecided or what we like to call a "fence-rider," we want you out.

For this is a discipline. We will not bastardize our Craft. You will get a taste of patience tonight, for the class is generally three plus hours long. And the next intro class is almost identical.

Welcome!
